Highland Cleaners Community Involvement

Giving Back to the City We Love

As a family-owned business, Highland Cleaners has always understood the importance of supporting the community that supports us. That’s why we make it a priority to donate to local organizations that represent a variety of causes.

Join Highland Cleaners in the Battle Against Hunger at Byck Elementary.

Hundreds of kids at Byck Elementary in Louisville rely on school breakfasts and lunches for food. When the weekends come, unfortunately, they’re on their own—and that means many of them don’t eat until Monday.

Blessings in a Backpack is designed to feed elementary school children whose families qualify for meal programs, but may not have enough food on the weekends. Together with Highland Cleaners, you can help feed a child—or an entire class.

For every dollar you give, Highland Cleaners will match it.
And every dollar can make a big difference.

  • Sponsor a child for an entire school year for just $80. With Highland Cleaners dollar for dollar match, that means you help two kids.
  • Sponsor a FourSquare (four kids) for just $240.
  • Sponsor an entire class for just $2,000.

You can drop of your gift at any Highlands Cleaners location. Checks should be made out to Blessings in a Backpack. We also accept all major credit cards. If you’d like to pay by phone, please call 454-4641.

We thank you for your support—and so do the kids at Byck Elementary.
