Employee Listings / Donnie Garner DONNIE GARNER - PANTS PRESSING MANAGER If you're pleased with the creases in your pants, you can thank Donnie Garner. As Pants Pressing Manager, Donnie oversees nine employees and the pressing of at least 50% of all of our dry-cleaning, including pants and coats. Donnie has been with Highland Cleaners for 15 years and has been pants pressing manager in dry cleaning for over five years. Donnie's group consists of three "toppers" and six "leggers" and together they handle over 1,500 pairs of pants a day. He is extremely particular about consistency and quality and satisfying the customer. He says that new materials in recent years have made his job harder. "We have to be very careful with the materials today. There are a lot of things I wouldn't put an iron on," he said. Donnie attributes much of his job satisfaction to his employees and co-workers. "I have a great group of people I work with," he said, and he attributes his success to several close friends at work "who inspired me to be the person I am and the best supervisor I can be." |
