KRIS WILDER - CONTROLLER
She can't help it; it's her passion. "I love
to make things balance," says Kris Wilder, bookkeeper for
Highland Cleaners. "If something isn't balancing, I like
the challenge of finding what's not right. I take pride
that I understand the basics and know the "why" of something
rather than just relying on a computer program," she said.
Kris has plenty of experience in debits and credits and has
been keeping books for over 25 years. But she is a relative
newcomer to Highland Cleaners and joined our staff in April
2000. Kris deals mostly with the General Ledger and
prepares all financial statements. Her loyalty and
dedication keep her busy even when she is at home. On her
own time, she scans the papers daily looking for items that
may help Highland Cleaners in the financial realm. "I like
to stay on top of the industry. It's amazing what you can
learn just by reading the Business Section of the paper.
I'm always trying to see if there's something that might be
beneficial to the company. You have to try to make
everything a team effort, for everybody," she said. |
