Employee Listings / Mary Stevenson MARY STEVENSON - LAUNDRY TEAM LEADER Mary Stevenson brings over 20 years of laundry experience to Highland Cleaners, and as part of our laundry management, is indeed an asset to our company. She has been with us for almost four years and started on the counter. For the past three years she has been laundry supervisor. Her commitment to quality and teamwork ensures the high quality of over 15,000 garments laundered each week at Highland Cleaners. Mary works in partnership with Wendy Norris, our other laundry supervisor. Together they work for Wanda Milburn, our Laundry Manager. As part of the laundry management team, Mary is responsible for overseeing the pressing, touch-up, inspecting and bagging of garments. "We handle 3,000 items a day," she said, admitting that the job requires a true commitment. "This type of work is something you'd have to like. You're standing all day. It's hard work and physically demanding." She said that she enjoys her job. "It's fun and exciting. You don't know what's going to happen from day to day," she said. Mary added that she likes working with people and doing her job well. "I like helping wherever I'm needed." |
