Employee Listings / Vickie Baucum VICKIE BAUCUM - CLAIMS REPRESENTATIVE The first person you'll most likely encounter when walking into our Bardstown Road location is Vickie Baucum. As a Claims Representative, Vickie is on the front line of our business and helps our customers with all of their questions regarding their garments. Whether it is a question about a button, or a wedding dress with a hundred buttons down the back, no problem is too small - or too big - for Vickie. In fact, after 25 years with Highland Cleaners her favorite memories of her career are of helping people. She says that she "loves the people, greeting the customers and talking with them." Many customers ask for Vickie by name. Because of her care and concern for individuals, she has become close to many of her customers, and has watched entire families grow up. Vickie’s favorite part of the job is helping people achieve a desired result from Highland Cleaners. She said, "We've had brides-to-be come in with dresses that were yellow from being stored in an attic. We were able to whiten the dress for them, and they were just ecstatic. Some have even shed tears of happiness over what we were able to do with those gowns." Vickie added, "I guess that's what makes me the happiest, is making my customers happy. |
